Debbie McCrea is an assistant professor at UTHealth in Houston where she teaches in the family/emergency NP program. She received her bachelor’s, master’s degree in Emergency CNS/Education program, postmasters’ Emergency and Family NP programs at UT. She was a prehospital CNS at the Houston Fire Department and a fixed wing flight nurse. She also taught EMS for 15 years. Dr. McCrea works part time as a medical case manager for a travel assistance company coordinating medical care and air evacuations. She is also a NP for DispatchHealth. She completed an Educational Doctorate (EdD) in Professional Leadership in Health Science Education.
