Melinda McMahon is a clinical nurse in the emergency department at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. Melinda has over 10 years in emergency nursing, including experience at the community hospital and academic level one trauma center level. Melinda is board certified in emergency nursing and serves as a mobile intensive care nurse (MICN), handling paramedic calls at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Base Station. Her research interests include barriers to emergency department throughput and its effect on patient safety and outcomes.
