Marie Dawkins is a clinical assistant professor at UNC Wilmington and staff nurse in the ED at FirstHealth of the Carolinas. She is a Certified Emergency Nurse and Certified Academic Clinical Nurse Educator. With 18 years of ED experience and 2 years of experience in the collegiate setting, Marie enjoys educating and working with current and future ED nurses. Her research interests are in transition to practice and patient safety.
