Katie N. Cutting, RN, is a certified emergency nurse and forensic nurse examiner at the University of Vermont Medical Center. Katie obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Boston College and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, from a rural Alaskan clinic to a brief pandemic stint in a New York City tent. She is currently an online student through the University of Nevada, Reno, studying to become a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. Katie completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) project by investigating suicide prevention strategies in Vermont, leading an ED-based intervention to support suicide prevention.
