Ivelisse (she/her) has been a pediatric nurse for 21 years and has spent the last 12 years of her career in the Emergency Department. She is currently the APRN/CNS Coordinator of the Pediatric Emergency Departments for Advocate Children's Hospitals. She earned a Doctor of Nursing Practice/Clinical Nurse Specialist Degree in Pediatric Acute Care from Rush University and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. She holds CPN & CPEN certifications. She has been a member of the ENA for 10 years and had previously served as the Illinois ENA EBP Committee chairperson.
